Description

This 10 year old from Aberlour was released to recognise the distilleries attempts at conserving forestry in the Speyside region.

Matured in bourbon barrels and sherry casks from Jerez, before a finishing period in French Limousin oak casks.

Aberlour, Gaelic for 'the mouth of the babbling brook' is a distillery of Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, at the confluence of the Lour Burn and River Spey near Ben Rinnes.

The distillery was officially founded in 1879 by James Fleming.
