Description

A cask strength - or "Fife strength" - 15 year-old single malt whisky released by Daftmill and bottled exclusively for the UK Independent Whisky Retailers.

The thirteen casks in this bottling are all first-fill ex-bourbon barrels distilled in January or August 2007 and bottled in July 2023 at "traditional Fife strength".

Distillery Information

Daftmill Distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery, located in a converted barn at Daftmill Farm in the Howe of Fife. Built in a converted meal mill and using unpeated malt, Daftmill has a maximum production capacity of only 20,000 litres of alcohol per year, making it a very low-volume distillery. Its first release was introduced as Daftmill 2005 12 Year Inaugural Release. All the grain used in distillation is produced on the farm.
