Description

The highly sought after Macallan Private Eye, released in 1996 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Private Eye Magazine. Selected by whisky maker F.A. Newlands at Macallan and includes cask no.1580 which was bonded in 1961. The bottle has a stunning screen print label on the front designed by Ralph Steadman, a famous cartoon artist.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray.

The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
