This Macallan was distilled on 11th July 2005 and aged in single first-fill Oloroso sherry cask DRU17/A106 #16 for 17 years. It was bottled at cask strength in June 2023.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray.

The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
