Description

This single cask Chichibu was distilled in June 2010 and initially matured in a bourbon barrel before a secondary maturation period in a sherry hogshead.

Bottled in January 2018 for The Highlander Inn, Craigellachie.

Chichibu distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. Founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, and operational from 2008, it was the first new Japanese distillery since 1973.

It is located at Chichibu a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
