Description

Distilled at the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, this release is the first in a series of limited editions using spirits distilled in the year 2000. This expression has been laid down to mature in oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for over 23 years, before being bottled at a strength of 46% abv. free from chill filtration

Distillery Information

Ardbeg Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery in Ardbeg on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands.

The distillery has been producing whisky since 1798 and is owned by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and produces a heavily peated Islay whisky.
