Distilled at Glengoyne distillery in November 2009, matured for 14 years in a single madeira hogshead (#1019) before being bottled in February 2023.
This unique private bottling was named 'Bard' as a tribute to Frank Noble Wood (aka 'Acorn'), who won the Exeter Eisteddfod Bardic Chair for his poem 'Hearts Desire' in 1921. The prize was a hand carved chair as shown on the label of this bottle.
