The Intrepid Collection is a truly impressive set of independently bottled single malts from Macallan. Comprised of replica editions of The Intrepid, the world's largest bottle of whisky at 311 litres, together with 11 Explorer Edition bottlings of The Intrepid, each label showcasing one of the explorers honoured by the project.

This single malt from Macallan honours explorer Robin Knox-Johnston and is design 10 of 12. It is one of 150 bottles taken from casks #6986 and #6992 for him

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray.

The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
