Description

A single cask release from one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, established in 1797.

Filled into cask on 9th September 1997 and bottled on the 5th of April 2019. Unlike other distillery hand fill bottlings, those at Glen Garioch are drawn directly from the cask, meaning they continue to age until they are emptied. 

Cask #9 was a first fill sherry butt and this bottle was drawn from it at well over 21 years old.

Glen Garioch Distillery, founded in 1797, is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and the most eastern active Malt Whisky distillery.
