An exceptionally rare and collectible Islay single malt, this Port Ellen 1982was bottled by the Scotch Single Malt Circle (SSMC) in partnership with Maltisten Westfalen, a well-known German whisky group. Distilled in 1982, just one year before the legendary Port Ellen distillery closed its doors in 1983, this bottling represents a piece of Scotch whisky history.

The Port Ellen distillery is located in Port Ellen on the isle of Islay, Scotland. It initially operated between 1825 and 1983 when production shut down.
