This Glenfarclas Pagoda Ruby Reserve is a 62-year-old single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1954 from a single sherry butt (cask #445).

The whisky was bottled by Glenfarclas as part of the Pagoda Reserve Series. There were 180 standard 70cl bottles released and this one is number 37

Distillery Information

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland, owned and run by the Grant family.

The distillery was first granted a licence in 1836 and now has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners. 

The company was named Distiller of the Year by Whisky Magazine in 2006. 

Glenfarclas translates as meaning 'Valley Of The Green Grass.'
