Distilled in the Highlands at Loch Lomond distillery, this release forms part of the distillery's The Open Course Collection. Distilled in 2000, this expression celebrates the 151st Open championship at Royal Liverpool and was put down to mature in American oak casks for 22 years. Part of a limited release of 4,500 bottles.

The Loch Lomond distillery, founded in 1964,  is a Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky distillery in Alexandria, Scotland, near Loch Lomond.
