Description

The Clynelish single malt brand was relaunched by Diageo in 2002, after United Distillers had packaged it as part of its Flora & Fauna range for what lasted over a decade. Clynelish joined Caol Ila and Glen Ord among the Hidden Malts, seeing the old Flora & Fauna 14 year iold replaced with this slightly higher proof expression as the Clynelish core range product..

Distillery Information

Built in 1967 in a rural setting in the Northern Highlands opposite its now-silent sister distillery, Brora, Clynelish has continued to produce a muscular, slightly peaty whisky much valued by blenders – it is one of the base spirits for the excellent Johnnie Walker Gold Label.
